I try to avoid large shopping complexes and Rode Road has everything we need - it really is a one stop shop! Food (Rode Meats renowned butcher - awesome range + great staff. Rode Fresh green grocer - just love their fruit and veg! Asian food mart, Brumby's bakery and Woollies Metro.
Coffee shop. Takeaway - Subway, Korean BBQ, Good Lookin Rooster. And BWS of course.
Then there's the traditional Indian Dum n Rum, Lanna House Thai (love the food from both). Haven't tried Sushi Jun yet.
Need a post office, doctor, pathology, chemist, newsagents, dry cleaners, tobacconist and a barber shop but no hairdresser. Can get your nails done though at the nail salon (don't know what they're like, I grow my own). And a Councillor's office too.
Fuel up next door at Coles Express (access off Rode Rd or Appelby Rd - no access directly from the shopping area).
Rode Meats is always fantastic. Spoilt for choice and quality is second to none. The new Woolworths is good too.

Korean chicken beer, awesome place,great food & good service
Visited the Rode Road Chemist, they had the hard to get item and was very pleased with their service.
Just went to the doctor & to have a blood test, conveniently in the one place, so very handy.
I love the new Woolworths and marvellous how the toilets have been upgraded.
